English:The 28th Shanghai International Film Festival is currently taking place in Shanghai, and this year's festival has specially established a "Heritage of Light: Classic Opera Film Screening" section, in which one of the biggest highlights is the first appearance of 4K restored versions of classic Huangmei Opera films. Anhui Film Group has entered into a strategic cooperation with the Shanghai Film Technology Factory to systematically restore and preserve the classic image resources of Huangmei Opera. Specifically, 4K restoration technology can restore the colors, details, and textures of the original films to the greatest extent, allowing classic operatic works to take on new life. It should be emphasized that this cooperation is not just a technological restoration, but also a cultural transmission. As a treasure of traditional Chinese culture, the systematic restoration and digital preservation of Huangmei Opera's classic image resources is of great significance for preserving operatic culture and promoting national art. Overall, 4K restoration technology allows traditional opera to be presented to audiences in a clearer and more exquisite form, giving younger audiences the opportunity to appreciate the charm of traditional culture. This year's film festival will also screen over 420 Chinese and foreign films in more than 1,600 screenings across 47 cinemas in Shanghai and 5 cinemas in 5 Yangtze River Delta cities, fully embodying the cultural vitality and artistic inclusiveness of Shanghai, the "City of Film".
